Taft is an intergalactic social worker who's had enough of all the red tape and rules. He decides to go it alone, quitting his job at the United Coalition of Galaxies, a pan-species peace keeping organization. Taft embarks on a solo investigation to find missing children in the caretakers city of the Planet Joom. He quickly discovers going it alone ain't all it's cracked up to be and finds some unexpected help from an underground gang of runaways.
